Unleash

Take a look at the free sessions available online from the Unleash Conference earlier this year. I watched the Morning Session and highly recommend it. If you want to skip to when Perry begins talking in the Morning Session, jump 19 minutes into the video. Although, I haven't seen it, I'm sure the Afternoon Session is also great. Jump 24 minutes in the Afternoon Session to skip over the music.

GodTube

I'm not very familiar with GodTube.com. In fact, I hadn't heard of it until a few days ago. I went to check it out and came across this video, titled "Why GodTube is Stupid", by Russ Seehafer. He makes some great points regarding the "Christian" counterculture. Find out more about Russ Seehafer at http://russellseehafer.com/.

Risk Taker? Print Email
Sunday, 04 March 2007

Have you taken any risks lately? Have you ventured outside your comfort zone to attempt something seemingly difficult or impossible? I'm not referring to careless or foolish risks. I'm talking about calculated risks. A risk that's given some thought and discussed with the wise people in your life. Have you done this lately? Be honest with yourself. For me, the hard part is not making the decision, but moving forward through the fear and discomfort of taking the risk. What's holding you back? What's keeping you from moving forward? Maybe God wants you to be in a place where you must rely on Him.

Last Monday, I started a new job. It was tough to leave my employer of 6 1/2 years, but it was the right decision. One thing is for certain. In 20 years, I won't look back and regret that I didn't take a risk.
